If you're looking to buy the Aeroo Smart Controller, or you've just received one and want to make sure you have the right version, this guide will help you identify which WaveSync version you have.
How to Check Your WaveSync Version
The quickest way to find out is to look at the back of your current remote control. Find the WaveSync indicator label:
- WaveSync 1.0 — No label
- WaveSync 2.0 — Has a label

Why Does the Version Matter?
The WaveSync version determines how your Smart Controller communicates with your Aeroo Pro. WaveSync 1.0 and WaveSync 2.0 use different transmission systems, so it's important to match your Smart Controller to the version your drone is running. Ordering the wrong version means the controller won't pair with your drone.
What WaveSync Is My New Aeroo Pro?
If you're buying a brand new Aeroo Pro and Smart Controller together, all new drone kits ship with WaveSync 2.0. See the Aeroo Pro Combo with Smart Controller for bundle options.

Frequently Asked Questions
I don't have a label on the back of my remote. Does that mean I have WS1? Yes. WaveSync 1.0 remotes have no label. If the back of your remote is blank, you have WS1.
Can I pair a WS2 Smart Controller with a WS1 drone? No. The controller and drone must be the same WaveSync version to pair successfully. See How to Set Up and Pair Your Smart Controller for more on the pairing process.
Can I use both my standard and smart controller at the same time? No, only one controller can be paired at a time.
