Casting past the breakers. Carrying supplies to someone cut off by floodwater. Planting the next forest. Every Aeroo flight has a purpose. This is ours ↓

From a garage on the Northern Beaches
In 2019, photographer and fisherman Oscar Greenwood went looking for a fishing drone that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and couldn't find one worth trusting over the water. So he built it. After hundreds of failed PCB designs, 3D printed prototypes and "testing sessions" at the beach, Aeroo was born, and the garage quickly disappeared under 3D printers, soldering stations and packing boxes.
Today that garage is a full team of engineers, technicians and support staff taking on the world's drone giants. When you call, you're talking to someone who's flown the drone, probably that morning.

What makes Aeroo different
Plenty of drones look similar in a product photo. The difference shows up six months in, over the water, after the crash, when you need a part...
We control the whole stack
Over 1,200 components go into an Aeroo Pro, and unlike most manufacturers, we don't just plug off the shelf modules into a shell and hope they get along. The airframe, sensors, firmware, app and flight-test standard are developed together as one system. So when something needs fixing or improving, we can actually find it, and fix it.
We release monthly updates to add new features, fix bugs and provide a better experience.
Your data stays yours — and stays here
Drones can capture a lot: mapping, high-resolution video, personal information. When you fly an Aeroo, your flight log is recorded to your device, and your device only. If you ever choose to share one — say, after a crash — it goes to Australian servers, controlled by our Australian team. No offshore clouds. No fine print.
Your privacy matters.
Serviced where you fly
Salt spray, sand and the occasional swim are part of a fishing drone's life — we build for that, and we're here for it. Every part is stocked locally, and service cases are handled by our own technicians and engineers, not a call centre. Your feedback goes straight into the next update.

Used for good
Our drones are built for people, not battlefields. Military use of any kind is strictly prohibited. Every drone is geofenced against flight in and around active conflict zones. We build for fishing, farming, filming and rescue. Never for warfare.
We physically restrict take-off in conflict zones.

188 km off flight constantly catching fish love it
Super easy to operate. My first Drone and have got it more for Ariel photography and videography. I’m very pleased with it for this application. Might have a fish with it at some stage. Dropping random beers off to my brother in law is pretty fun ha ha ha .
Drone fishing with my Aeroo Pro has opened up more opportunities to catch many more species. The Smart controller made it easy and simple so I highly recommended you add to your purchase.
The aeroo has been a game changer and allowed me to land some insane fish from big pink snapper, Spanish mackerel and more! Highly recommend for the land based fishing crew 🤙
Have had the Aeroo Pro a few weeks now. Completed a few practice / training flights and have now ventured onto the surf beach on the NSW mid north coast. Very happy with the performance in a stiff breeze. Sent it along the beach for approx. 1km and out over the breakers too. Auto return to base is magic and the video and photos are great!
Will try surf fishing next weekend!
First flights with the drone. YouTube content coming up canaussieoutdoors. And I'll do some fishing on the Midwest coast. Kalbarri, Geraldton and further north. Lest see how this drone goes
