Mastering Drone Takeoff: Automatic vs. Manual

Congratulations on getting your new Aeroo Pro! One of the most exciting parts of flying is learning how to take off and land smoothly. Whether you're looking for a hands-off approach or prefer full control, understanding the two main takeoff methods—automatic and manual—will help you get the most out of your flying experience.

Automatic Takeoff: Effortless Launch

For those who prefer a more streamlined approach, the automatic takeoff function is perfect. Here’s how it works:

  • Locate the Auto Takeoff Button: On the left-hand side of your screen, you’ll find the Auto Takeoff button.
  • Initiate the Takeoff: Press this button, and your Aeroo Pro will start up and hover at about 2 meters above the ground. This gives you a moment to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
  • Landing: To bring your Aeroo Pro back down, you have two options:
      • Press the Auto Takeoff button again.
      • Use the Return to Home button located at the top of your remote control.

    This method is great for beginners and ensures a smooth start and end to your flight.

    Manual Takeoff: Full Control

    If you prefer to have more control over the takeoff process, the manual method is for you:

  • Prepare for Takeoff: Hold both joysticks down and outwards. This action will activate the propellers, causing the drone to idle.
  • Take Off: Push forward on the left joystick to make the drone hover upward.
  • Landing: When you’re ready to land, hold the left joystick down towards you and keep it there until all the engines shut off.

    • Manual takeoff allows you to have a more hands-on approach and is useful when you need to make fine adjustments as you launch.
