If your Aeroo Proās gimbal isnāt responding correctly or seems stuck, donāt worry ā itās usually an easy fix. Try these quick steps to get it moving freely again:Ā
Ā
Steps to Fix Gimbal Issues
1. Remove the Gimbal Protector
Before powering on your drone, ensure theĀ gimbal protectorĀ has been removed.Ā If the drone was turned on with the protector still in shape, it might log as a fault.Ā
If this happens:
- Power off the drone
- Remove the protector.
- Restart the drone to clear the fault.
Ā
2. Check for Smooth Movement
With the drone turned off, gently roll the camera up and down by hand.
Check whether:
- Does it move freely?Ā
- Or does it feel like thereās resistance or sticking at certain points?
3. Realign the Gimbal
If you feel resistance:
- Slowly move the camera up and down several times to help it realign itself on its axis.
- This can often resolve minor misalignments.
4. Observe the Gimbal Self-Check
When you power the drone back on, the gimbal should do a quick self-check:Ā
- Youāll see the camera move up and down and then settle in the centre.Ā
