The Aeroo team has wrapped up an incredible weekend at the 2026 National 4x4 Outdoors Show in Sydney, and the response exceeded all our expectations.
Held at Sydney Showground from 12 to 14 June, the event brought together thousands of people passionate about four-wheel driving, camping, fishing, touring and outdoor adventure. It was the ideal setting to introduce more people to the Aeroo Pro's capabilities and demonstrate how a multipurpose drone can become an essential part of an outdoor setup.
Bringing the Aeroo Pro to Life
Throughout the weekend, our local Sydney team had the opportunity to speak with first-time pilots, anglers, campers, content creators and families looking for new ways to explore the outdoors.
While many visitors had seen fishing drones online, seeing the Aeroo Pro up close created a completely different reaction. People were able to get hands-on with the aircraft, experience the controllers and learn how its intelligent flight features can be used for fishing, filming, scouting and carrying equipment.
One of the biggest talking points was the Aeroo Pro’s ability to safely carry and release payloads of up to 1 kg. Visitors were surprised by just how much the drone could lift, particularly when they saw the payload size demonstrated on our stand. Its integrated release system allows the pilot to carry and drop a payload at the press of a button, opening up possibilities for deploying fishing rigs and completing other practical outdoor tasks.
Active Track Was a Crowd Favourite
Another feature that received plenty of attention was Active Track.
Visitors loved seeing how the Aeroo Pro could identify and follow a moving subject, allowing the pilot to capture dynamic footage without constantly making manual adjustments. For four-wheel driving, boating, fishing and outdoor adventures, this gives users a way to record the action while remaining part of it.
The Active Track and Follow features are part of the Aeroo Pro’s range of intelligent flight functions, which also includes waypoint missions, automatic position hold, payload stability and return-to-home features.
For many people at the show, this helped change their perception of what a fishing drone could be. The Aeroo Pro is not limited to carrying bait offshore. It is also a capable camera platform, a scouting tool, and a multipurpose outdoor drone designed to support a wide range of adventures.
Meeting the Aeroo Community
One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting so many existing Aeroo owners.
We heard stories from customers who regularly use their Aeroo Pro for beach fishing, remote trips and exploring new locations. It was also great to hear how the drone has helped users reach fishing areas that would otherwise be inaccessible from shore.
Just as rewarding was meeting people discovering Aeroo for the first time. Our team answered questions, demonstrated the aircraft, and helped visitors understand how easy it is to start flying, even without prior drone experience.
The enthusiasm, curiosity and positive feedback we received throughout the three-day event made the weekend especially memorable for our team.
