If your Aeroo Pro’s payload release button isn't responding, don't worry — it's often a quick adjustment or update to get everything working perfectly.
Step 1: Check That the Drone is Ready to Fly
The payload release system only works when the drone is fully connected and in a "Ready to Fly" state.
- Power on the drone, remote, and Aeroo Fly app.
- Check the app for a "Ready to Fly" status at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Update Your Firmware
We've added an update to make the payload button even more responsive.
Here’s how to check and update:
- Connect to a stable Wi-Fi connection (home internet is best).
- Open the Aeroo Fly app.
- Go to Settings -> General Purpose -> Version.
- Check the firmware version and apply any available updates.
Tip: Leave 20–25 minutes for the update to complete. It's normal for the drone to beep and the progress bar to pause briefly during this process.
Step 3: Press the Button Correctly
When using the physical button on the remote:
- A quick press works best
- Holding it down too long may prevent the release system from activating.
With these steps, your Aeroo Pro will be ready to drop payloads with ease.
