Great remote
Huge improvement over the phone setup however the six hours of runtime can't be accurate in my experience, took it out fully charged, two flights, one 350 metres and the second 400 metres out, shutdown in between flights and came home to only two blue lights illuminated, doing the maths on it seems it's only good for a couple of hours before needing a recharge. I could be wrong, would be interested to hear others runtime experience with it. Aside from that it's great.

I wasn't available to accept the delivery, and our local post office does not trade on weekend, so it was inconvenient to ask somebody as authorised person to pickup on my behalf. The controller sync first time took me over 1 hour, I almost give up. The controller requires wifi, but even I have tag some drop location at home wifi before heading out, the data is not cached, that means the Google map screen locked on the drone, and the drop location outside the screenview can't be accessible to fly to. This is a biggest frustration of this smart controller.

WASTE OF MONEY. Don't bother. This remote completely froze (hopefully this video uploaded) drone lost. Will not turn off on nothing.

I am extremely impressed with my Aeroo drone and the new dedicated remote control is an improvement that is well appreciated. I did have a little trouble getting everything synced though I’m not a tech familiar bloke so for me to be able to work it out shows how easy it really is. The view on the screen is crystal clear and the controls are still simple and great to use. All of the usual features of this drone make it a fantastic product. Thank you Aeroo.

Fantastic smart controller, the screen resolution and clarity is amazing. The negative side was the audio or voice prompt volume was very weak even the software has been updated.
much less fiddling before flying and it leaves your phone free to take photos or video.
The controller is great, but it is not recognising the Sd card. I thought that there might be as problem with the card, however we have checked that it properly formatted and It is showing when inserted in the drone
Far better then the previous controller and phone system. Easier and quicker set up and better vision. I noticed from other comments some others are having difficulty with down loading firmware and linking to the drone. I found several demo's on YouTube helpful. One area Aeroo can improve is adding more detail to the manual and having a non-tech person reviewing and adjust so people with zero technical knowledge can read and understand.
Used the new controller a couple times already, 10-20 flys no issues so far! Way better than hooking up a mobile device every time

Very pleased. It take take a little time to get it sorted and upgraded, but it’s certainly doing the job and I’m very happy with the controller.
For the last 2 weeks we have had major issues with smart controller have done everything you told us to do, it doesn't charge, we have tried to email support and haven't heard back as we asked for a replacement. Amy and Katie were the ones we talked through support. No response, can't ring you. Just want a address to send it back to you and for you to send a replacement smart controller asap. Support have already got videos and photos.

A few hiccups with wrong 240 volt battery charger at the beginning. It is my hubby's Christmas present and he is looking for to using his Aeroo Pro fishing drone and smart controller, now that the new charger has been delivered so he can fully charge batteries and finally get to have a first flight with fully charged batteries. The Aeroo pro team were extremely helpful after they realised that the wrong volt charger had been sent with the combo package and they were so apologetic on their mistake. Thanks for making such a useful drone for fishing, sight seeing for Aussies to enjoy. Keep up the great work.

Do not send out new units with existing faults to paying customers .
